Jesse has now slept through the whole night 4 times! Last night he slept from just after 10 PM til 7:30 am. We had to check on him to make sure he was breathing! I hope it keeps up. If I can get used to him sleeping, maybe I can get some too!
Jesse has 4 teeth now. It's really helping with his eating, which has long been an issue. I think he's teething again now actually. Poor little guy.
I went back to work in January. I'm now part-time. I only do 5 12-hour shifts every 2 weeks. It was really hard at first, leaving my little boy all night, but I knew he was in his Daddy's capable hands. I actually think it's been a good thing for Jesse and Steve's relationship. I think Steve has gained a lot of confidence in caring for Jesse. Still though, I'm glad I don't have to work full-time. It's really nice to not feel like I'm working ALL THE TIME. Also on the work front - I may be going on strike in about a month's time. Contract negotiations between the NLNU and the provincial government haven't been going well. I have to vote on their latest offer sometime in the coming couple of weeks. I have no idea how that's going to go. At the end of the day, I hope it turns out that we have a contract that we can live with.
